portal.gzgq.comWhat is the name of that tune that they play when someone dies, like in a cartoon.... it goes: du......du..du..du....duuu...du .du.....du..du....du.du I know that probably makes no sense above, but if you know the melody I am talking about it does... Like when Bugs Bunny used to have a funeral or something... it is by a composer... Thanks in advance! I think this is what you're thinking of. » Tripod under $100
I am looking to buy a decent tripod for under $100, but I really have no idea what I am looking for. I know I want one that is not too heavy as I will be taking it on walks and hikes. I went to the camera store close to me the other day, but they only had 2 tripods and neither seemed all that great. Plus both were VERY heavy. It looks like I will need to buy one online as my camera store sucks. Can anyone recommend any particular makes and models that would be good? If it matters, I have a D70S. I got some advice on another post that mentioned a few brands to look at, but I think I need a little more advice as there are so many tripods in each brand. » Why would anyone do this?
I am single male and I have a nice fast sports car. I was driving out of a bank parking lot and I notice this white middle aged man suddenly behind me in his modest Honda family car. I noticed that the car was extremely close to my car. I was waiting for all the cars to pass, then I drove out onto the street. I had to put my foot to the gas because I had to change lanes to turn quickly, when I did this my fast car was 0 to 60 in about 4 seconds. I noticed that the guy in the Honda keep changing lanes as I did, but could not catch me. I was confused. I slowed down when my turn came up and rolled down the window. I was thinking that I might have dropped something in at the bank like my wallet and he was trying to catch me and tell me. But...... - 2010-03-17

I had a big championship meet this morning, I was only swimming one race (100 breast.) Earlier this year I had been going through a lot of depression issues and even though I've been swimming all my life and always liked it, at the peak of my depression I hated it, and was actually thinking about quitting. But I stuck with it, and as I started to get over my depression, I decided that I wanted to do well at this championship meet so badly, so I worked really hard in practice, I tapered/shaved, and I even listened to visualization CDs to help me mentally prepare myself. I was so ready for this race, then when I dove in to swim it this morning, I started choking on water on the pull out and stopped for 2 seconds to catch my breathe, then...... - 2010-03-17

» How does a non-profit organization stay in business?
Funding sources include: Government funds/grants Foundation grants Corporate grants individual donations Some nonprofits sell items for increased revenue (Salvation Army thrift shops, for example) or host fundraising events, hold raffles, etc.they spend what they have, not taking risks with loans etc, fundraiingNon-profit does not mean they have no income. All it means is that they spend all their revenue on providing the goods and service they supply. For example, the car companies are all non-profit organizations right now. And charities are non-profit as they spend the money they raise of their charitable works. Because their reason for existing is those services, not to make a profit for anyone....... - 2010-03-17
» Should the United States put more troops in Afghanistan?
Why or why not?we will, but it won't make any difference, the British got kicked out, the Russians got kicked out and so will we. the only possible solution to that conflict is, since those are very isolated regions where most of the problems are, drop a few nuclear war heads on those regions, and we have a good chance of getting bin laden too. we should have been there in force instead of Iraq. Afghanistan is where the terrorists of 9/11 came from. if we had concentrated on the correct country from the start things would have not gotten so far out of controlYes, Al qaida is making a comeback, they are linked to the attacks in India, and We gotta find bin laden and his crew, they are hiding in pakistan, they need to leave iraq, conc...... - 2010-03-17
» Why does it feel like i'm having an orgasm when i have to pee? It feels really good!?
When i drink something, like 20 minutes later i have to pee and then it feels like i'm having an orgasm every 2 minutes! It feels so good but it's so weird and distracting at school but i can't help it. My eyes tears up and everything it's really weird. Does anyone have this feeling too?Somebody else that has that! Wow, I didn't think anyone else did. It has to do with the body make-up really. When you have to pee really bad you tend to use all your muscles to hold it in, and since an orgasm is in essence a contraction of all the muscles (they're tightening up) you are really causing them yourself. Going to the bathroom when you first feel like you have to is the best way to go to avoid them, but if you do want...... - 2010-03-17
» Server Config Checkup Request
First of all, thanks for this service that you provide. I been in IT for 8+ years, but dont really have the time to learn every config setting for the apps this site uses :). Second, the server runs "OK", but Apache does crash 4-5 times a week. I assume we are under powered at the peek times. The first thing that crashes is Apache. I get the "to many file handlers" msg, which seems to be a problem with WHM/Cpanel and Apache. Apparently, WHM sends a SIG to Apache every 10 minutes to rotate log files, and apache does not close its file handlers, eventually it runs out. From reading the CPANEL forums, only workaround is to restart apache in a cron script daily (which i do). After apache crashes all hell breaks lose. All the MYSQL connectio...... - 2010-03-17

I am looking at purchasing vbulletin, and I have a couple of questions before I do. As well, MODS are a solution to the questions below, i just noticed I can't seem to find a database of all of the MODS for vbulletin. 1) How easy is it to change the template of the forum (ie, is their just one index file that will change the basic layout of everything?) I have a custom template that I wish to use with it, and a easy conversion would be nice. 2) User registration questions. Can I change what questions are asked and stored in the database when the user registers. 3) Logged in on pages that are not vbulletin pages i.e. custom pages and being able to distinguish between a user logged in and logged out and their user level (admin, user, guest...... - 2010-03-17

2nd Place Bordeaux vs. 4th place PSG...this should be a good one. Both clubs have been much better than they were last season. An ambitious young asian man, in need of money, decided to hire himself out as a handyman-type. He began, door to door, canvassing a wealthy neighborhood for work. He went to the front door of the first house and asked the owner if he had any jobs for him to do. â Well, you can paint my porch. How much will you charge?â The asian man said, â How about 50 dollars?â The man agreed and told him that the paint and ladders that he might need were in the garage. A short time later, the asian man came to the door to collect his money. â Youâ re finished already?â he asked. â Yes,â the asian man answered, â and I had paint left over, so I gave it two coats.â Impressed, the man reached in his pocket for the $50. â An...... - 2010-03-17
» Unfixable ?
A lot of people in Mental Health tell the Asker to seek help, find a therapist, call 911, etc. Main question: Does that mean everybody is fixable? There is a chance for everyone to live a happy normal life? Nobody is unfixable? Minor question: Do you think if Pink Floyd* had got help, he could've been saved? *The character; not the band.if pink had stopped doing so many damn drugs he might have been saved. the drugs made his mental problems worse. i don't know if everyone can be "fixed", but it's worth a shot, right?A lot more people are getting picked up younger and in their first episode of major mental health problems. » This might be a dumb question but why are Christmas colors red and green?
Christmas colors vary depending on the country. In Sweden, for instance, the colors are red and white. But to answer your question, red and green symbolize the red of the blood of Christ and the green of the crown of thorns. Long before the Christian era, evergreen boughs were brought into homes to decorate. Holly, which is green with red berries became associated with winter. Later, as these pagan people converted to Christianity, they adapted their traditions to accommodate Christian theology....... - 2010-03-17

Could someone refresh my memory on what exactly the connection is between Fox and FSW? I was under the impression that it was not outright ownership on the part of Fox, but rather something more complicated. It came up while watching the UEFA Cup and a friend of mine was absolutely shocked that a company as rich as Fox was not sending commentators to Seville. I explained that the connection between Fox and FSW is not as straightforward as it sounds, but I can't remember where I got that from. Thanks. edit: Just noticed an answer for this question regarding FSW Canada in another thread. So I guess my question is, is the relationship between FSW and Fox similar to the relationship between FSW Canada and Fox.Originally posted by da_cfo ...... - 2010-03-17
» Playlist Details - Missing?
Good Day!! I first want to say that the July 2006 updates are great...every time I update this wonderful media player gets better and better...great job to the entire development and testing team!! And, when I update...I invariably find something that makes me think...I updated wrong...I missed a step...I didn't delete something that should have been...or I don't understand the new functionality.....I missed a settting...etc. So, I search the Wiki and the forums...and if I don't find an answer I ask the experts here.. I use my XBMC exclusively as a dedicated Digital Music Server. Here's the situation -- using the 09/07/2006 TCH build. When accessing a saved Playlist in Library View the individual songs are displayed...... - 2010-03-17

Id suggest a dedicated film scanner though if your going to invest in something.i still don't understand though. so i would get the negatives developed, no prints, and a cd?That's right. To get the image from film to a digital file. It has to be scanned. You can buy a scanner and do it yourself. Flatbed scanners are inexpensive and can scan film (with an adapter) or scan the prints. The better option is to get a ...... - 2010-03-17

Two Tropical Storms likely to make Hurricane status at nearly the same time, and three additional areas of interest, including the one coming of the African coast that is already pegged as a moderate potential for tropical development. http://www.weatherwarrior.net/hurricanes/NHC_homepage_080828web.jpgLOL Illinois does have it too easy......;)...... - 2010-03-17
» Is an EFC score of under 300 good?
In terms of how much money you would receive.not sure about 300... but do know that the closer you are to 0, the more money you will receiveIt's great. It means you are only expected to pay $300 for college. BUT, it doesn't mean you will receive any scholarships or grants, it only means you are ELIGIBLE to receive almost a full-ride scholarship. You are eligible for lots of money, but only if colleges think you're a student worth admitting to their college and you deserve money more than other students....... - 2010-03-17

Even tho some places charge for delivery and the delivery guy gets a percentage of that yes you should give him something.Well your not obligated to, like you don't have to but im positive it would sure be nice, what if you were that pizza guy, would you want someone to tip you?i always do. i always tip anyone who does a service to me. im a waitress so i know that you dont make a ton of money and you rely on tips to get you through the week until your paycheck, i always tip; waiters, waitresses, pizza delivery, hotel maids, piercers/tattoo artists, beauticians.depends in which country you live. for example i know that in japan it isn't common to leave a tip, whilst in most european countries it's usualid say so. it makes the...... - 2010-03-17
» From MySQL 3.23 to 3.22
I recently upgraded to MySQL 3.23, and changed my table types accordingly, but now I need to go back to 3.22 - is there a way to change the table types back? Can I just change them? I changed all tables apart from Session to 'myisam', and changed Session to 'Heap'.I don't know if this is the best way to do it, but I think it should work... Do a complete backup (dump) of your forum-DB. Us a good editor (or other utility) to search & replace the table types ('Type=MyISAM' and 'Type=HEAD' replaced with 'Type=ISAM') in the backup-file. Now restore the DB from the edited backup-file. I have no experience with 3.22, but I hope this helps. With regards - TommyBALL...... - 2010-03-17
» "Lost"
Anyone watch this show? Is it even on in Germany? This is one of 3.5 hours of TV that I cannot miss each week (2.0 hours devoted to FSC's BL telecast and .5 devoted to Homer and family). New show tonight. Previews suggested that the Korean woman (Sun?) is kidnapped (although my newspaper's TV guide says it was attempted and she is injured). If interested, post all thoughts, etc., on this show in this thread. About half of the show usually ends up going right over my head.C'mon, stop spoliing, we are about half a season behind you guys (the 2nd one didn't even start here), and I do care (Even though I prefer downloading the English episodes, but I can't do that atm due to space problems)...... - 2010-03-17

» First time installation service...
Hi, I'm in the process of purchasing a license for VB and was wondering if I should purchase the the first time install service by a VB pro. I'm not a noob, but I've never dealt with MySQL and PHP (I'm an ASP.NET and SQL 2000 guy :)) My current host provider provides MySQL with PHPmyAdmin tool. Does the install involve access to the server or is FTP and the PHPmyAdmin tool sufficient enough to install VB by myself? Thank's in advance. All you really need is FTP, and MySQL database user information, and a lil notepad editing. Nothing more really.I had never touched php (had a *little* mysql experience) and I installed everything in 5 minutes after uploading the forums via FTP, and I spent about an hour tweaking the settings after that. ...... - 2010-03-17
» Post/Beam Gambrel Roof Shed Plans
To me the post/beam type construction is the way to go for a DIY shed in the 200SF size. I don't want to do a lot excavation but still want a concrete floor and ground level entrance. And out in the country the gambrel roof is both attractive and very usefull. I've googled for hours and can't find any plans for such a shed or small barn. It's like they've never heard of post/beam. Anybody found anything like this they would like to share?I'm not gonna go search heavily for you, but maybe this one can help. But you should be able to just design it yourself, but make dang sure your building inspector gives you the ok... http://www.ag.ndsu.nodak.edu/abeng/constructionplans.htmI realise that a "pole" type shed, is not a POST and BEAM buildin...... - 2010-03-17
» Lens or Body
I have a 3 yr old Canon 20D with a 24-70mm 2.8 SIGMA lens. I have the opportunity to purchase a 5D body OR a CANON 24-70mm 2.8 lens. What should I get and why? Thanks so much. JulesDo you shoot professionally? Like weddings for instance.. It would be good to have a backup body...use the 5D as your main and your 20D as the backup. The Sigma lens is not a bad lens, however it's weaknesses are rather obvious when compared to the Canon L lens. I would be tempted to get the lens. But then again the 20 D is quite an old body by now, and I have used the 5D with the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 lens, not a bad combination. With a bit of RAW-processing to get rid of the chromatic abberation of that lens, it is quite a good combination. You will enjoy t...... - 2010-03-17
» When he finally realizes how inept he has been, won't George W. go into a deep and remorseful depression?
Once George W. has a chance to evaluate his own performance as president, won't he be filled with some very deep and serious regrets? There is no doubt in my mind that Obama will outshine him by a wide margin and this obvious contrast will eat away at him and every public appearance will be painful beyond belief.I didn't see any remorse or depression after the deaths on 9/11/01 due to his incompetence and negligence. I didn't see any after the debacle in Iraq. I don't see any while the economy goes down the toilet, people are losing their houses and their jobs and Bush wants to make sure his banker friends get paid. I think you are "misunderestimating" just how clueless and callous Bush is. He was born on third ...... - 2010-03-17
» PSP processor capped
PSP processor capped According to breaking internet reports, one third of PSP's processing power is currently sitting idle, capped by Sony to ensure a healthier battery life. While the specification of Sony's new handheld states the machine has a 333mhz capable processor sitting beneath its cool-looking exterior, the machine has been capped to just 222mhz, according to a Sony America representative speaking at the Games Developers Conference in San Francisco last month. But why? This is something of a mystery, with popular opinion suggesting Sony capped the full potential of the machine simply to spare battery life, which does ring true when you consider that PSP's battery life was one of the most talked about features of the ma...... - 2010-03-17

» Daily Prep, July 8
Today is all about spending money. Dh will be thrilled. LOL I ordered the spreadsheet posted in yesterdays Daily Prep. I never could get the demo to open so, I just went ahead and ordered it anyway. Dh and I have tried on three occasions to inventory our preps but quit when the task seemed to be too monumental and unwieldy. Praying this one turns out to be a winner. I will let you know. I also phoned in an order for some herbs from mountainroseherbs.com . I love these people. They have a tea called Fidnemed Nighttime Tea, also called Sleep on Rocks tea, that really helps me fall asleep and more importantly stay asleep. I just ordered more. I also ordered some guggul gum for reducing cholesterol. My spending spree ended with e-mailing my ...... - 2010-03-17
