  • can the police get me if my mom doesnt contact them while i run away?


  • Doesn't matter if ur Mom calls and reports you gone or not!! If ur a minor and they see you out walking streets at night they will take you to the station and call her.

    Hmmm How would you be able to play on here if you run away??
    If ur Mom I don't know beats you or abuses you or lets her boyfriend then tell someone.
    If not what the hell is so bad you need to run away??


  • First, and foremost, I would strongly suggest that you don't run away. Life isn't as easy as it looks out there.

    But, to answer your question, yes the police can get you if you're a minor and they determine that you're in violation of any curfew restrictions, etc., or, that you're not under any form of supervision.

    My STRONG advice is to live at home until you're not legally required to do so.


  • if your mom contacts them, there will be a warrant stating that you are a missing person, and if they come across you, yes, they will "get" you. meaning return you to your mom.

    if your mom doesnt contact them, how would they know that you ran away?



  • Work it out w/your mom. Believe me, there are a lot of sickos out there.


  • Don't run away. Haven't you heard about the terrible things that happen to runaways? I bet your home life isn't even as bad as you think it is. After all...you are using the internet right now.


  • if you haven't been emancipated, and (depending on your state laws) if your under 18, you belong to your mother. (or current gaurdian)

    why would you run away, unless theres a big reason, ie abuse. then they have ways to fix it, w/o just disappearing...like CPS. (which isn't always the best choice)
